You followed me and you must begin to enter the wilderness; Just like your ancestors, you came out of Egypt, this great world full of sin, and you no longer belong to the world; Your heart and eyes are far away from the material world. You must continue to empty your desires, because this is what the devil gives to people; Desires will only make people stay away from me and get closer to sin; Enter the wilderness and begin to learn to follow my footsteps; Continuously practice a pure heart and don’t be disturbed by the world; Continuously practice an obedient heart; I will give you what you need for your daily life, just as your ancestors did not lack in the wilderness; What I want to give you is peace and joy, and eternal happiness; What I give you is not the temporary material desires that the world gave you before, Moreover, on that day, all visible things will become nothing. You don’t need to waste time pursuing vain things. Your days on earth are extremely short and useless. Think about the eternal things in the future. This wilderness is a road of trial. Don’t be like your ancestors who fell and died before entering the beautiful land. You must be determined and not complain. Be willing to give up the entanglement and rush to the goal so that you can survive. Go through the trial and hold on to my way. You can live a life like heaven on earth and enjoy peace. You were born for this, and you must complete this road. You must grasp this grace. Strive to complete and walk towards the road to heaven. This is the road that purifies you so that you can become holy, have eternal life, and enter the beautiful land I promised. Bible Study Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 1 to 2 All the commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land that the Lord swore to give to your fathers. And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 1 to 5 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. Psalms chapter 39 verse 4 to 8 “O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah. Surely a man goes about as a shadow! Surely for nothing they are in turmoil; man heaps up wealth and does not know who will gather! And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you. Deliver me from all my transgressions. Do not make me the scorn of the fool!” Proverbs chapter 22 verse 1, and verse 3 to 5 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold. … The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it. The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked; whoever guards his soul will keep far from them. 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 6 to 9, 11 to 12, and 14 But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. … But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. … to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 8 to 10 for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. Job chapter 23 verse 10 to 12 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food. Hebrews chapter 12 verse 1 to 2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. |
