(Jude 1:20-21) Do not pray to me with a heart full of earthly desires; purify yourself, seek me with righteous deeds and a sincere heart, and I will guard you with my loving mercy throughout your life, until you enter the kingdom of eternal life. Acts 3:19-20 (ESV): “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus.” 3. Jude 1:20-21 (ESV): “But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.” 4. Romans 8:18 (ESV): “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” 6. Revelation 21:4 (ESV): “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” 7. Psalm 31:7-9 (ESV): “I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place. Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also.” 8. Isaiah 30:20 (ESV): “And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher.” 9. 2 Corinthians 12:10 (ESV): “For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.
