【Sheng-Yen Lu's Dharma Talk】 The "Oral Instruction" of the "Nine Stages of Great Perfection Dharma (Dzogchen)" Dharma Talk by His Holiness Grand Master

His Holiness Sheng-Yen Lu presided over the "Jade Pond Golden Mother Fire Offerings Ceremony" in Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple on 30^th November 2013, it is quite cold on the day but there are still lots of disciples attending the ceremony, there are about ten thousand people uphold at the scene.

There is no empty seats in the Lei Tsang Temple hall and the square, there are even lots of disciples who need to carry the chair on their own to sit outside of the plaza's covered area, yet it still does not diminish everybody's enthusiasm of upholding the puja, everyone still queue orderly to received empowerment transmission and to be blessed on the head.

After the fire Puja ceremony, His Holiness dedicate merits: "Homage to Jade Pond Golden Mother, beseech Jade Pond Golden Mother wholeheartedly to illuminate and deliver the souls and etc to Pure Buddha Land, to bless unlimitedly, to have wisdom, enough resources, healthy, illness is cured, to bless all of the sentient beings to be respected and loved, a stately Buddha Land, level of lotus increase, level of attainment gets higher, have faith and practice diligently, enlarge the radiance to illuminate and bless the world, ...".

In regards to the introduction of today's homa main yidam (deity): Grand Master disclosed ~ Jade Pond Golden Mother is the greatest and the most sacred main Yidam (deity) of True Buddha School, without Jade Pond Golden Mother, there would not be a Grand Master Lu today, Grand Master was led by Bhiksuni Qian Dai to meet Jade Pond Golden Mother personally in Yu Huan Gong (Jade Imperial Palace Temple), Jade Pond Golden Mother instructed Grand Master ~ to be devoted to Buddha, to learn dharma (buddhism) wholeheartedly, devote in doing good, then Amitabha, Jade Pond Golden Mother, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva appeared sequentially to give blessings at that time, I also received the word of "loyalism" bestowed by the Jade Emperor, indicating of treating all sentient beings as family members, to be able to save and enlighten sentient beings. This is the key of Grand Master converting to Taoist and Buddhist from Christian, and start going on the path of dharma propagation, save and enlighten sentient beings.

Jade Pond Golden Mother brought Grand Master to see the past lives of Padmakumara on that night, Grand Master mentioned to lots of people but no one knows the source of Padmakumara? The details would be disclosed soon, welcome everyone to attend White Padmakumara Puja next Saturday (7^th December 2013) in Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple.

Grand Master also mentioned that the image of Padmakumara was documented in each grotto of the Dunhuang Mogao Caves, this has proved the long standing and well established history of Padmakumara. Jade Pond Golden Mother is the mother of all sentient beings, her status is the same as the status of Buddhism five Buddha, the status is very high, she is also the first Yidam (personal deity) of Grand Master and have response and unite with, there are about 50 Lei Tsang temples around the world, three or four hundred cultivation centres worship Jade Pond Golden Mother, True Buddha temples started from Jade Pond Golden Mother, Jade Pond Golden Mother is also the root of the blessing power of Grand Master. Jade Pond Golden Mother has the status as five Buddha, she is my first Yidam (personal deity) who has response to and unite with, almost all of the 500 temples or cultivation centres over the world also worship Jade Pond Golden Mother!

Grand Master said: "I was very timid at that time, I asked Jade Pond Golden Mother whether I am able to save and enlighten sentient beings? Jade Pond Golden Mother said that I would know after I have done it."

"We have five million disciples today, which is the result of Jade Pond Golden Mother, my blessing power also comes from her! Her mudra is the mudra of Tara (female Buddha)."

Grand Master has also mentioned that two True Buddha disciples won lottery from Jade Pond Golden Mother Instant Wealth Practice, each of them won about 1.9 billion and 3 billion Taiwanese dollar respectively, for an example, Lotus Jun Mai won about 1 billion American dollar, he asked Jade Pond Golden Mother how many times he needs to cultivate by casting of divination blocks, he bought the lottery when Golden Mother, Buddha, Bodhisattva and Grand Master appear. This has proven the excellence of Jade Pond Golden Mother's dharma practice.

And within the "oral instruction" of the "Nine Stages of Great Perfection Dharma (Dzogchen), Grand Master disclosed: The first pithy formula is "wisdom of profound insight /observation", practitioner must learn to always pay attention and observe own thoughts, eye, ear, nose, tongue, body and mind can caused all kinds of thoughts, practitioners must know how to eliminate delusions immediately to remain calm and serene, the six senses causes thoughts to occur. Practitioners must not be emotional, cultivator must have a stable emotion, Zen Buddhism said "Not afraid of thoughts/delusions arises, only afraid of slow awakening", therefore the importance of observation and delusions elimination is crucial, Grand Master gave an example, when one is chanting the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra, he/she can stop and concentrate after chanting each sentence to improve concentration.

After learnt to observe, next is to "put aside/let go". Grand Master said that delusion is an obstacle of cultivation, cultivator must learn to stay focus, eliminate delusions, set aside delusions, so that the heart is calm forever, like the sea water with no wind, quiet and serene instead of rough waves, such is the first step of cultivation. For an example: One thought of something suddenly when chanting the High King Avalokitesvara, even though the sutra chanted is very short, there can still be thoughts. One must find ways to stop the continuous delusions, must be calm and concentrate when chanting each Buddha name, this is the wisdom of profound insight/observation, to put away/eliminate immediately is to not hold on the thoughts or delusions.

Flowing along with delusions will cause one to forget of the things that is currently being done, one must put thoughts aside regardless whether it is a good or bad thought, to put aside/eliminate is the second effort! Concentrate in eating, sleeping and defecating is the first effort, delusion is an obstacle of cultivation, to eliminate delusions, one must put aside, delusions can caused one to be emotional, to stop being emotional, one must observe, eliminate immediately and put aside your delusions/thoughts!

After Grand Master's precious dharma talk, the ceremony comes to an end, Grand Master then bestowed empowerment to all disciples, even though the weather is very cold, but the most excellence ceremony and the valuable dharma talk have given warmth to everyone, and is very rewarding.

2013年11月30日聖尊蓮生活佛盧勝彥於台灣雷藏寺，主持《瑤池金母息災、祈福、超渡護摩火供大法會》，法會當天雖然正值冷氣團來襲，但仍湧入大批同門 ，現場約萬人護持。

雷藏寺大殿及廣場座無虛席，甚至有許多同門必須自行搬椅子坐到廣場棚外參加，但仍不減大家對師尊法會擁護之熱情，依舊有秩序的排隊灌頂及摩頂。

雄雄烈火的護摩儀式後，聖尊迴向：[敬禮瑤池金母大天尊，一心祈請瑤池金母大天尊放光接引幽冥眾等往生清淨佛國，加持光明無量，福慧，資糧滿足，身體健康，疾病痊癒，加持與會大眾敬愛圓滿，佛國莊嚴，蓮位增長，果位向上，道心堅固，放大光明照世間，..。]

關於護摩主尊介紹：師尊透露~瑤池金母為真佛宗最偉大、最神聖的一個主尊，沒有瑤池金母就沒有今天的盧師尊，師尊當年於玉皇宮經林千代師姑牽引親見瑤池金母，瑤池金母教導師尊 ~一心向佛、一心學法、一心向善，此時阿彌陀佛、瑤池金母、地藏菩薩依序出現加持，並得玉皇大帝欽賜「忠義」二字.指示要把所有的眾生都看成是家人，就可以渡眾生。 此為師尊由基督徒轉為道教、佛教之關鍵，從此走上弘法度眾之路。

當晚瑤池金母帶著師尊看到蓮花童子之前世，師尊提到許多人並不清楚蓮花童子的根源？欲知分曉歡迎大家參加下星期六(2013年12月7日)在台灣雷藏寺的大白蓮花童子法會。

另外，聖尊提到於敦煌石窟每窟中均有記載到蓮花童子之像，可見蓮花童子之淵遠流長。瑤池金母為眾生之母，地位與佛教五佛地位是相當的、地位崇高，也是師尊 第一位相應之本尊，世界各地50幾座雷藏寺，三、四百座分堂均供奉瑤池金母大天尊 ，真佛道場均是由瑤池金母開始的，師尊加持力之根源亦來自瑤池金母。 瑤池金母大天尊與五佛地位相等，祂是我第一位相應的本尊，幾乎全世界約500道場皆供奉瑤池金母大天尊！

聖尊說：[當年我很膽小，問瑤池金母大天尊我可以渡眾生嗎？瑤池金母大天尊說作了你就知道。]

[今天我們有五百萬弟子，就是源於瑤池金母大天尊，我的加持力也是由祂而來！祂的手印是度母手印。]

另外聖尊提到，瑤池金母的馬上有錢法讓兩位真佛宗同門中得樂透大獎，分別獲得約19億及30億台幣， 像蓮花梭麥得約1億多美金，他卜杯問金母修多少遍，金母佛菩薩師尊出現，他就買彩券。 亦可見瑤池金母大法之殊勝。

而在《大圓滿九次地法》之《口訣部》 ,聖尊開示 ：第一個口訣為「妙觀察」，修行人必須學會時時注意、觀察自己的念頭，眼耳鼻舌身意都會引起各式念頭，修行人要懂得立斷妄念，保持情緒安寧和諧， 六根都會引起念頭出現。修行人不可以情緒反復，修行人要保持情緒穩定，禪宗提到「不怕念起，只怕覺遲」，可見觀察及斷除妄念之重要，師尊舉例唸高王經時，可唸每一句佛號後定一下，如此可加強專注力。

學會觀察後，接下來便是要《放下》。師尊提到妄念是障礙修行的，修行人必須學習專一，立斷妄念，放下妄念，讓心永遠平靜，像海水沒有風，寧靜安詳而非波濤洶湧，如此才是修行的第一步。 比如：唸高王經時突然在想某事，即使很短的念經，都可以插播念頭進來。念頭不斷，要想辦法立斷，把每句佛號要定下來，這就是妙觀察智，立斷放下，就不要在 抓念頭。

隨著念頭走會忘了正在作的事情，要放下念頭不管是好壞對錯，放下是第二層功夫！專一吃飯睡覺拉撒都要有第一個功夫，妄念是障礙修行，去除妄念還要放下，是妄念讓你起情緒，要阻止情緒，要觀察、立斷、放下你的妄念！

法會在師尊寶貴的法語開示後告一段落，師尊接著為大眾賜受灌頂，雖然天氣冷颼颼，但殊勝的法會及寶貴的開示，仍然讓所有人心理暖呼呼的，滿載而歸。
