【Grand Master Golden Words】His Holiness Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu explained 『The daily tasks that need to be performed by the real vajrayana disciple』

A real vajrayana disciple will need to do the following all the time:

1. Thrice Mandala offering, thrice full prostration, thrice remembrance of Grand Master and desired deity ( Ishta devata) .

2. Repent.

3. Vow.

4. Chant the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra, True Buddha Sutra.

5. Do Madala

6. Visualise, chant mantra, entering Samadhi.

If not able to do it three times a day【morning, noon, evening】 due to too busy, then would need to at least practice once daily, and chant Grand Master or Ishta devata sutra 21 times.

A vajrayana disciple's attitude towards Guru is to learn from his virtues, this is to have better cause.

If you look for the weakness of Grand Master and you will have bad cause if you render widely. The former will obtain great achievement, the latter will be attached by devil.
