Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple will be in Nantou Latern Festival in 2014.
Nantou County Government is hosting "2014 Taiwan Latern Festival", in the period of 7^th February ~ 23^rd February 2014, the location of the latern display is Chung Hsing New Village, to develop a Spring Festival travel package with the innovative green energy technology, in collocation with the traditional historic buildings and the county tourist attractions, to attract visitor crowds and rebuild the Nantou tourism industry; the latern display of Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple set up in the northern side of the religion area of Chung Hsing New Village would be the largest area of the religion area.

Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple would demonstrate the True Buddha culture with the following three major themes:

1) A 12 meter high display of Lian-Sheng Living Buddha Blessing Immediately, both sides would have four colours of white, red, blue, yellow of Q version Lian-Sheng Living Buddha, to represent the four dharma power of Lian-Sheng Living Buddha bestowed on people, that calamities are dispersed, good fortunes are bestowed, prosperity amplication, people to be loved and respected, and the bads are subdued.

2) The exhibition area of the figure of Lian-Sheng Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu and His Holiness's writings, which consists of more than 240 books.

3) The exhibition area of Lian-Sheng Living Buddha Sheng-Yen Lu propagating Dharma across five continents and more than four hundreds temples, enlightening and saving more than five million sentient beings.

There would be traffic restrictions during the Latern Festival, Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple will have three Fire Offerings Ceremonies on 8^th February, 15^th February and 22^nd February respectively, disciples who plan to participate in the Puja please pay attention to the road traffic congestion and traffic safety.

Traffic restrictions time:
Weekdays (Monday ~ Thursday) 2:00pm to 22:30pm.
Weekends (Friday ~ Sunday) 10:00am to 23:00pm.

Traffic restrictions: During the traffic restrictions in the period of Latern Festival, getting on to the Freeway from Nantou Chung Hsing Interchange, Nantou Zuci Interchange is allowed but not getting off from the freeway. Therefore, the suggestions to everyone are:

1) For the people who plan to attend these three fire offerings ceremonies, because there would be a traffic restrictions during the Latern Festival, it would be better to arrive at Lei Tsang Temple before 10am to avoid the possibility of not able to attend the ceremony in time due to the traffic jams.

2) After 10am, get on to the Interchange from National Highway No. 6 in Caotun, travel on Yong'an Road, Chung-Cheng Road, then turn to Fulin Road to go to Lei Tsang Temple P3 parking lot.

2014年台灣雷藏寺在南投燈會。
南投縣政府主辦「2014臺灣燈會」，時間2014年2月7日~2月23日，地點中興新村設置燈展，以創新綠能科技，搭配傳統歷史建築，並結合縣內觀光景 點打造春節旅遊套裝行程，以吸引參觀人潮，再創南投的觀光產業；台灣雷藏寺的燈展設置在中興新村北區的宗教區，是宗教區最大區。

台灣雷藏寺以三大主題展示真佛文化：

一、蓮生活佛馬上賜福12米高，兩旁有白紅藍黃四種顏色的Ｑ版蓮生活佛，代表蓮生活佛盧勝彥為大眾息災、祈福、增益、敬愛、降伏的四種法力。

二、蓮生活佛盧勝彥著作等身，著作240多冊文集的展示區。

三、蓮生活佛盧勝彥弘法遍佈五大洲，四百多座道場，度眾5百多萬的展示區。

燈會期間實施交通管制，台灣雷藏寺在2月8日、2月15日、2月22日（六），有三場護摩大法會，來參加法會的同門須留意路上交通壅塞，注意交通安全。

管制時間：
平日（一～四）下午 2：00起至22：30。
假日（五～日）上午10：00起至23：00。

管制路況：南投中興交流道、南投祖祠交流道，燈會交通管制時間內，只能上高速公路不能下。 因此建議大家：

1、參加此三場法會者，因燈會期間的車輛管制，能在上午10點前抵達雷藏寺，以免塞車無法準時參加。

2、上午10點後，由6號國道在草屯下交流道，行走永安路、中正路，轉富林路上雷藏寺P3停車場。
