Typhoon signal no. 1 is being hoisted now in Hong Kong. I can hear the sound of raindrops splattering onto my windows now.  I guess it must be raining cats and dogs outside judging from the sound of it!!

 Just had dinner with my friends a while ago and was lucky to be back home in time without getting myself wet!!   Ha-Ha!! Lucky! Lucky! Lucky!!

Haven't seen my friends for a while and was eager to hear what's been going on in their lives.   Being able to meet and make friends with likeminded people, to me.. is truly a blessing.  Time flied as we exchanged information with each other and before I knew it, it was already 10:30pm.  Time to go!! 

My friends told me that the hospital was really busy while I was away on vacation and they really missed me!!   Ha-ha!!  I smiled and told them not to envy me so much  cos' even I was physically away, I was not enjoying myself.  I was actually wrecking my brain everyday and night doing my dissertation!!    I was really glad that they asked me out for dinner and this gave me an excuse to take a rest tonight!! 

Now......come to think of it, I think I haven't taken any holiday since last year.  Oh!........I really miss going to Japan and also miss my friend, Tomoko very much.  Um....as I recall, the last vacation I took was a year ago in Scotland for a hospital attachment !!  See.....it's work again!!  How miserable !!!

Well, after finishing my dissertation,  I promise to treat myself better this time.  Where should I go??  Hm... haven't got a clue yet!!  But..anyway, I hope the Swine flu will go away ASAP so I can go anywhere I like then!!
