在休士頓東北邊車程一個半小時，近中台禪寺之國際禪修中心，後者就在San Jacinto 郡內之 Shepherd鎮內。 在1847年時，它叫Coonskin, 然後是 Fireman's Hill, 到1850年改為 Cold Springs, 最後演變成今日的Coldspring.
