此曲由路瑟范德羅斯製作, 他跟 Marcus Miller譜寫

是首節奏輕快有勁的流行舞曲,只是市場反應不佳, 並沒打入單曲榜,只在副榜黑人榜拿到＃４５

唱片公司結束宣傳活動, 狄昂也休息了一年

不過個人蠻喜歡［Got a Date］的明快風格, 乍聽讓我聯想起艾瑞莎富蘭克林的［Jump To It］, 兩者有異曲同工之妙──至少我這麼覺得
