１９９２年１１月，美國女子團體翡翠（Jade）推出的首張大碟［Jade to the Max／金玉滿堂］（Giant／Reprise唱片發行） ，由Vassal Benford，Ron Spearman，Alton "Wokie" Stewart製作，評價中等． 首支單曲［I Wanna Love You］登上美國告示牌單曲榜＃１６ 副榜──R&B榜＃７，英國榜＃１３，打出名氣． １９９２年１１月，翡翠推出第二主打［Dont Walk Away／別走開］． 由Vassal Benford, Ronald Spearman創作 並採樣Kool & the Gang樂團1975年歌曲［Jungle Jazz］的鼓點，以及史提夫汪達（Stevie Wonder）1982年歌曲［That Girl］的和弦進程。 Vassal Benford製作成一首New Jack Swing／R&B， 旋律悅耳，節奏搖曳，歌聲層次分明． 《AllMusic》的 William Cooper認為這首歌“極具感染力，令人無法抗拒”，並補充說“它成功多年後，可能還會在電台上聽到一首熟悉的曲子”。
