在錄製過程中　奧莉薇亞與唱片公司MCA發生齟齬　協商要解除合約　

因此專輯發行後公司不願宣傳

雖然奧莉薇亞仍獨自宣傳專輯與單曲  但事倍功半

導致［Making a Good Thing Better］成為她走紅後英美排行榜名次最低的大碟（UK#60, US#34）

在美國鄉村榜拿到＃１３　終結她連續六張Top１０的紀錄

也結束她連續金唱片的佳績，單曲成績更加淒慘．　

不過在某些市場表現不錯：日本＃３　是她連續第五張Top５　拿到金唱片（榜上銷售１１萬張）
