由威豹與 Pete Woodroffe 共同製作，這是他們自１９８０年以來第一張沒有 Robert John“Mutt”Lange 參與的專輯。

［Slang ］也是新吉他手 Vivian Campbell參予的第一張專輯．

本碟標誌著他們在音樂上與他們標誌性聲音的背離，以更原聲的效果呈現，
