美國歌壇天后琳達朗絲黛（Linda Ronstadt）在１９７０年代以鄉村搖滾走紅

不過進入１９８０年代後, 除１９８２年個人專輯［Get Closer］, １９８７年與桃莉芭頓（Dolly Parton）愛蜜露哈理絲（Emmylou Harris）三人合輯［Trio］外

就沒再演唱鄉村歌曲,而重心放在搖滾, 傳統流行／爵士與傳統西班牙音樂上

１９９４年琳達，桃莉，愛蜜露開始為第二張合輯［Trio II］灌錄歌曲

可是因為公司爭執, 加上三人行程衝突, 導致無法出版

接下來朗絲黛籌備個人大碟［Feels Like Home］　將［Trio II］中的五首歌曲重新混音, 將桃莉的聲音去掉──因她的公司反對, 收錄其中

１９９５年３月　［Feels Like Home／彷彿回家］大碟出版

專輯仍由琳達與George Massenburg共同製作 

４８歲的她重回到鄉村樂根源,　走鄉村搖滾風　樂評出色

只是此時朗絲黛聲勢下滑　［Feels Like Home］只拿到Billboard專輯榜＃７５

至今賣出１９萬張　是她銷售最低的大碟之一

專輯推出數首宣傳主打, 標題曲亦是其中之一

此曲由美國音樂人Randy Newman為它的音樂劇［Randy Newman’s Faust］譜寫

朗絲黛也是此劇成員之一, 不過劇中［Feels Like Home］是由邦妮芮特（Bonnie Raitt）演唱

［Feels Like Home］被製作成一首成人抒情味的鄉村曲

原本這是［Trio II］中的歌曲之一, 不過因為去掉桃莉部份,只剩琳達與愛蜜露的聲音

由朗絲黛主唱, 哈理絲合音,旋律優美, 詮釋溫馨動人

［Feels Like Home］只在北美宣傳, 登上加拿大成人當代榜＃４３

１９９９年［Trio II］出版後, 三人合作的［Feels Like Home］版本也拿出來主打
