| Diablo 4 Season 15 may end on December 1, 2026, but that date isn't confirmed, and its gear won't carry into a fresh Seasonal character. You can review Diablo 4 Items while deciding what to keep for your existing characters. Plan Around an Unconfirmed End Date The Season 15 Reliquary countdown points toward December 1, but the developers haven't confirmed an end date or a Season 16 start date. Other estimates place the season's end on December 2, so the first days of December are a planning window, not a deadline you can rely on. When the season closes, your Seasonal characters move to the Eternal Realm, and their stash contents go into temporary storage there. Set your own earlier cutoff for sorting gear, and check any storage instructions or deadlines before relying on that temporary space. 1) Review your Seasonal stash several days before the estimated end and identify items that have a clear use on an Eternal character. 2) Compare those items with what your existing Eternal characters already own, keeping the pieces that fill a useful gap or support a preferred playstyle. 3) Spend suitable materials on current-season goals, then salvage unwanted gear before the transfer so there's less to sort in temporary storage. Spend Seasonal Resources With a Purpose Horadric Cube materials are most useful when a recipe produces something you'll actually use during Season 15. The developers haven't published a complete list of features carrying forward, so keeping materials solely for a seasonal recipe has an uncertain payoff. The same uncertainty applies to legacy Uniques and other systems associated with the season. If you're close to finishing an item you want, focus on that goal while its current rules apply. For a minor improvement on gear you'll soon stop using, save the effort and materials for a more meaningful upgrade. ● Prioritize a Cube recipe when its result helps your current character, rather than spending materials simply because the season is nearing its estimated end. ● Use shared War Plans progress on an eligible alternate character if you intend to play that character before the season closes. ● Consider completing a legacy Unique you've already pursued, but don't assume its current drop conditions will remain unchanged in Season 16. Reality check: A character's move to the Eternal Realm preserves the character, but it doesn't make that gear available to a new Seasonal character. Check Changes Before Investing in Eternal Gear Season 16 test plans include Horadric Items, War Plans Tactics, Tyrael's Boons, and changes to Unique values across classes. Those plans can help you assess an item you expect to use on an Eternal character, but test values aren't a promise of the final release. Compare the relevant item changes before committing scarce materials to an upgrade, especially if the benefit is small. Seasonal features and item changes also serve different purposes: a feature continuing into Season 16 doesn't establish that every associated recipe or item will work exactly as it did before. ● Check whether a proposed Unique change applies to the specific item your Eternal character uses before treating it as a reason to upgrade. ● Revisit your decision if the Season 16 test values change, since an early preview doesn't establish the numbers for release. ● If a valuable drop is invisible or can't be collected, record the time and location and check your inventory before leaving the area. Review Your Remaining Crafting Plans Before Season 15 ends, check which materials your planned Cube recipes need and spend them only when the result suits your current goals.
