For three weeks in November we will be hosting the visit of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche to Oxford University. This is part of an ongoing Visitorship programme which will see a prominent member of the Buddhist tradition visit Oxford for three weeks to engage with students and staff at the University. We have a very varied and rich list of activities planned with Panel Discussions, Readings and Interviews with Students, visits to the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and more. Rinpoche has expressed a keen interest in exploring the academic practices of Oxford to inform his work with Monastic Education. We anticipate much discussion and dialogue which will be of benefit to all sides.
This visit is largely happening within the institutions of the University so events are by invitation only. If you feel one of the events would particularly be of benefit for you to attend then please email susan.gianni@ocbs.org This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
