Prof. Sneja Gunew (Professor of English and Women’s Studies, University of British Columbia), Prof. Hugh J. Silverman (Professor of Philosophy and Comparative Literature, Stony Brook University), Prof. Scott Slovic (Professor of Literature and Environment, University of Nevada, Reno)三位學者發表專題演說,並有三十多位來自國內外的學者發表論文。

Closing Remarks

*Other Asias is the title of Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak’s new book to be published in May 2007. Though we did not have enough information regarding the thesis of the book as of the time when we designed our program, we proposed to take advantage of the intriguing title to stimulate discussions.
