Upon arrival at the Humanities Conference you will be given the final conference program, name tag & conference bag. We request all presenters pick up their badges at least half an hour before the commencement of the day’s program on the day their presentation has been scheduled. If your badge has not been picked up by then, we will assume you have not been able to attend the conference and we will cancel your session. This is in order to avoid the possibility of participants attending a session where the presenter does not appear, and to give other participants adequate warning that the session will not go ahead. Please note that a balance of AU$0 is still outstanding on your account. This will need to be settled prior to the conference. ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCE DINNER BOOKED BY SECRETARIAT For those who have booked accommodation or the conference dinner through the Conference secretariat please find below confirmation of your booking. Please check the details and let me know as soon as possible if there are any discrepancies. The conference secretariat will provide data projectors and overhead projectors only. As a back up we suggest you bring the core of your presentation on overhead transparencies as well. GETTING TO THE CONFERENCE There are many train stations very close to the American University in Paris (AUP). These include La Tour-Maubourg, Ecole Militaire, Alma-Marceau and Invalides. Further, buses that run to the AUP include the 28, 42, 49, 63, 69, 80, 92. |
