Can you make the first letter of each word (except conjunction, article, and preposition) in your title capitalized and type it in Times New Roman 14 point bold?

 

Your title does not relate to your thesis statement.

 

Can you make your topic more specific and relate it to your writing?

Please underline or italicize the name of a movie or a book.

 

Guidelines: Structure and Approach

 

 

The Abstract should contain the aim of the research, the main findings of the research project and a brief conclusion.

 

A structure like “Introduction, Argument (approach), and Conclusion” is necessary.

 

An abstract should contain a concrete thesis statement. 

An abstract should give an idea that can be discussed with supporting theory (ies).

An abstract should not be paragraphs that only give facts about the topic but strong arguments.

 

An abstract should state clearly your logical reasoning that applies theories to explicate the assigned text(s).

 

Format and Layout

 

In the right hand corner, write down the basic information such as your name, addressee, course name, and date etc.

The abstract must be informative but concise and must be no more than 300-350 words.

 

Each paragraph in the abstract should have 5 spaces indented and is typed in Times New Roman 12 point font size.

It should be double-spaced.

It should be paged.

 

Keywords

 

Authors are asked to suggest not more than 10 key words in alphabetical order, and separated by commas.

Key words should be put before the Abstract.

 

 

Grammar

 

Please pay attention to your spelling mistakes.

It seems to have many inconsistencies between the subjects and the verbs.

 

Please pay attention to the passive/active verb form.

 

Please be notified the importance of plurality of nouns or an article.

 

The wording in your writing seems to be very unclear, please find the proper word.

 

It is crucial to realize the balanced structure of two paralleling words and sentences.

 

It would be better that you use who, which, that to connect two simple sentences. 

 

Please identify the order for direct question and indirect question.

 

A piece of writing without any punctuation is difficult to understand.

 

 

General Evaluation

 

Your catching title is appropriate.

 

I like your thesis statement because it has a strong main idea.

 

Your fluent writing pleases me best.

 

This is a well-structured abstract.

This is not an original thesis statement.

This is a weak abstract with no clear argument supported by applied theory.

 

The listed keywords are appropriate.
