| Inkdeath, Comelia Funkie, 2008.
這是Inkworld trilogy的第三(最終)本. 故事要說Dustfinger(Fire-Dancer)能否起死回生? 代表正義一方的Ombra居民能否因為得到Black Prince, Motimer, 和跟隨者的協助, 對抗代表邪惡的Adderhead的統治? Motimer一家人最後是否會回家? 陷入寫作低潮的Fenoglio能否寫出改進Ombra居民生計的段落? Orpheus會用他的筆怎麼影響故事的發展? Inkdeath中的一個場景, Fenoglio心中想而未說出口的:Damn it, that was the trouble with children they were always asking the very questions you so carefully avoided yourself. And then they gave the very answers you didn’t want to hear!和小孩打過交道的成年人都有的經驗吧! 另一個場景, Dustfinger對Motimer說:"Why? Because you still think everything here is just made of words? It is indeed a strange thing: Look at you! Anyone might think you belonged here as much as me. Are you sure someone didn’t just read you over into that other world of yours?"這不就是莊周夢蝶嗎? 書中作者確實寫了Motimer的回答, 如果您好奇想知道的話. 書中除了情節充滿想像, 還有書中的人物自行設想來改變故事的發展.這可能是引起爭議之處:一般常識告訴我們:書中的人物和情節是由說故事寫書的作者決定, 不受書中人物影響.不過如果我們是書中的人物, 故事進行到一半, 即使我們知道接下來的故事發展(自己的未來命運), 我們會認命的依照安排, 還是試圖反抗改變(至少自己的)未來, 走向未知? |
