迎來農曆新年「虎年」，許多商店、觀光景點都會設置老虎等裝置藝術迎新春，不過近日馬來西亞網路上卻瘋傳數張狗狗遭有心人士染成「虎紋」模樣，引起大批民眾撻伐，對此當地警方出面闢謠，並說出真相。

《中國報》報導，近日有不明人士在社交媒體上冒用馬新社（BERNAMA）名義發出數張照片，稱馬來西亞馬口區有飼主將狗染成虎紋，寫著「森美蘭州馬口警方正在尋找把狗畫成老虎的有心人士」，還說當地居民誤把狗當老虎引發恐慌「除夕夜，就讓牠在周圍徘徊『嚇唬人』甚至讓街友為他們的生命而奔跑」。

而從照片中可以看到，街上角落一隻狗狗從頭部到尾巴的毛髮都被染上橘黃色，中間還相肩著黑色條紋，明顯是想將狗狗喬裝成「老虎」，不僅容易造成民眾恐慌，狗狗表情看起來更是相當害怕，且染劑還會對動物有害，因此照片在網路上瘋傳後，立刻引起大批民眾撻伐，甚至紛紛標記馬口警方趕緊抓人。
