There is a twist...

I went to my company asking for parental leave today. 

However, my company told me the annual bonus and other rewards will be zero.

That was definitely out of my comfort zone. I was not happy at all.

What could I do? 

I surrendered. No six-month leave. I turned to ask for a shorter period of time to secure those $$$$$.
