Dear Liz,

I saw you had a visit to my poetry site the other day. Today I had a look at you Visitor’s Message and felt sorry to know that you were not feeling well for a long time. I sincerely hope you have already gotten well now or may get well soon.

Since you are one of my ardent readers, I’d like to let you know something about my published poetry.

My first English poetry book entitled Sorrow and Search (285p) was published in 2001. It was sold by Amazon, Barnes & Noble and some 20 book sellers in the United States until 2006. In its last days it was sold at Amazon for a double of the listing price.

Based on the first work, I revised and enlarged, also translated it into Chinese, then published it the second time with a title of Solace and Search (452p) bilingually in two books and an English Kindle E-book. They are sold by Amazon, Barnes & Noble and some 40 book sellers in the United States, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, etc. Chegg and iFlipd also rent them as college text books in America, from September 2016 to present day.

I cherish not much over their selling in major countries of the world. I cherish more of they are selling and renting in all America colleges as text books.

I am not here to sell you, or promote, my books. To me they are shabby and unworthy.  Because my wife was eager to drag me back to Taiwan, the manuscripts were not yet matured, they were published in hurry, so they have many defects and errors. Now I am revising and enlarging them to be better and seeking for a better publisher. The present publisher is both inferior and a cheater. They told me my royalty has not yet reached the lowest standard of a hundred dollar, so they cannot pay me anything. (How absurd!)  Your spending will only add to their dirty profit, not a single cent will come to my loyalty. Please wait for my new books, if it is not complicated and can be satisfactory to me, I can possibly send you a copy as a gift.
