The Koch brothers are at it again. Not content with their attempt to buy our elections through donations to shady SuperPACs, they're out to hijack a respected nonpartisan think tank and turn it into a shill for their corporate agenda. And they want you and me to help pay for it.

The Kochs just filed a lawsuit to take control of the Cato Institute, and use its tax-exempt status to promote their partisan political agenda. While we often disagree with Cato on policy issues, we totally agree that it must remain independent -- not a partisan or corporate mouthpiece. 

Tell the Internal Revenue Service to crack down on the Kochs' latest scheme to push their corporate agenda. Sign the petition to the IRS today!

The Koch brothers already have too much influence in our elections -- from the millions they spend to put their profits ahead of the public interest in clean air and clean water, to their work with the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) to enact business-cozy laws in every state.

Of course, they have every right to support or oppose any candidate, just like you and me. But no one should be allowed to stick taxpayers with the tab when they turn a nonpartisan think tank into a partisan and corporate shill. 

We've already asked the IRS to investigate the Kochs' takeover bid. Your voice will help to keep up the pressure to make sure this Koch scheme is defeated, and our elections stay in the hands of "We the People!"
