Summer is upon us, and what better way to cool off than to watch a movie with   at the Los Angeles Film Festival? We're working with a number of partners to bring two politically-focused films to this year's Los Angeles Film Festival.

Convention gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the historic 2008 Democratic National Convention. What happened off script, before and after the balloon dropped? See the convention through the eyes of the protesters, police, reporters, Denver residents, and city officials. Directed by AJ Schnack.

There will be two screenings in Westwood: Monday, June 22, 7:00pm at the Majestic Crest Theater & Saturday, June 27, 9:45pm at the Landmark #8.  For passes, tickets, and full LA Film Festival details, please call 1-866-FilmFest or visit
http://www.LAFilmFest.com.

The Youngest Candidate follows four young activists who run for office. Experience the aspirations, pressures, and heartbreaks of politics through the eyes of these four candidates. California Common Cause teams with YOUnited Foundation/Donkaphant Film Festival and Director Jason Pollock to premiere the film.

This screening will take place on Thursday, June 25, 7:00 PM at the Majestic Crest Theater in Westwood. For tickets, visit
http://www.younitedfoundation.org.

We’ll be tabling at all the screenings, so we'll see you there!

Sincerely,
