Chinese New Year Cultural Series for Children at Manoa

Public Library (January 26-February 23, 2013)‏

Aloha,

Manoa Public Library will be hosting the Chinese New

Year Cultural Series for Children from January 26-February

23, 2013.   Each program in the four week series is free,

designed for children ages 5-12,  and introduces children to

a wide variety of Chinese New Year culture through

storytelling, crafts, hands-on activities, and demonstrations. 

The series has been coordinated by Amanda “Miss Panda”

Hsiung-Blodgett  (see www.misspandachinese.com).  She

has worked hard to find knowledgable individuals and

organizations within the community who are willing to

donate their time and expertise to this project, which is

sponsored by the Friends of Manoa Library.

  The first week’s program, which is this coming

Saturday1/26/13, will kick off with a double lion dance to

bless the new Manoa Public Library.  See the flyers below.

Manoa Public Library.

馬諾阿分校公共圖書館中國新年文化系列（2013年1月

26 - 2月23日）阿羅哈，馬諾阿分校公共圖書館將為兒童

舉辦中國新年文化系列,從1月26日至 - 2月23日。共計四

個星期,每項表演都是免費的，專為5-12歲兒童設計，並

向孩子們介紹中國新年文化, 透過講故事，工藝品，手

藝的活動.

 該系列已協調阿曼達熊貓老師“Hsiung-Blodgett（見

www.misspandachinese.com）。她並努力尋找願意捐出自

己的時間,和專業知識, 成為馬諾阿分校圖書館之友,贊助

這個項目，這是社區內熱心人士的個人組織。

用舞獅表演祝賀馬諾阿分校新的公共圖書館.第一週計

劃, 曾於星期六2013年1月26日,已先行揭開序幕。參閱下
