說明：

常用於防止繩身從圈中滑出，或防止繩尾鬆散開來。在船上可作重物來拋繩用，令可作裝飾之用。 

1.1 八字結 (Figure-of-Eight Knot)

可作為臨時繩端結使用，被水手廣泛地應用於繩尾。 

1.2 反手結 (Overhand Knot)

可作為臨時繩端結使用，但當繩索被浸濕後，便難於解開。
