The Edit menu contains commands for making changes to a movie and its components.

As you can see in Figure2-2(Edit), the commands range form ways to view objects in your movie to viewing object properties.

You will notice in the figure that some of commands are grayedout. This occurs for three reasons:

lSome commands are not active unless an object is selected in your movie.

lSometimes a specific type of object must be selected.

lSome commands aren't active until another command is appllied.
