Cbtrust.net: The Platform Two Regulators Warned Against

Cbtrust.net presented itself as a global trading platform offering forex, stocks, commodities, and indices. What it did not present was a license. Two separate European financial regulators have issued public warnings about the site, and one of them went further: it stated plainly that the company behind the domain does not exist.

The Swedish Warning

Finansinspektionen, Sweden's financial supervisory authority, issued an investor alert regarding CB Trust. The regulator stated that it had investigated the matter and had not been able to determine that CB Trust is a real company. The firm is neither authorized by FI to conduct securities business or other financial services in Sweden nor under FI's supervision. FI also noted that no notification of cross-border activities had been received from any other EEA country, and that CB Trust is not authorized to provide financial services according to the supervisory authority of the country in which it claims to be domiciled .

The warning listed the contact details used by the site: an address at Baarerstrasse 55, 6302 Zug, Switzerland, a phone number beginning with the Swiss code +41, and the email support@cbtrust.net .

The Swiss Warning and the Identity Theft

Switzerland's Financial Market Supervisory Authority, FINMA, issued its own warning about cbtrust.net. The regulator included a note that goes to the heart of the deception: www.cbtrust.net is not connected to CB TRUST AG, Zug, a company that is registered in the Swiss Commercial Register under number CHE-104.067.038 .

The scammers behind cbtrust.net borrowed the name and the Zug address of a real, registered Swiss company. That company has no involvement with the trading platform. It is a victim of identity theft, used to give a fraudulent website the appearance of legitimacy.

The Warning Signs Beyond the Regulators

Independent security assessments of cbtrust.net flagged the site before the regulatory warnings arrived. The domain was registered in September 2025, making it very young for a financial platform. The registrant's identity was hidden behind a privacy masking service .

Gridinsoft classified cbtrust.net as a suspicious website, noting multiple risk signals including blacklist detections and the domain's youth. The analysis warned that the site implements registration forms requesting personal information including names, email addresses, and phone numbers, and advised users to verify the site's legitimacy before submitting any data .

Legal analysis of the scheme published in Germany was more direct. It stated that investors reported massive financial losses, manipulated accounts, and blocked withdrawals. Once larger amounts were deposited, the platform allegedly manipulated prices, blocked payout requests, demanded ever-new "fees," or locked accounts without explanation. The analysis also noted that the login domains user.clientzonepanel.net and wt.clientzonepanel.net were part of the deceptive infrastructure .

AYRLP.COM Steps In for Victims

For anyone who deposited funds through cbtrust.net, two regulators have confirmed the risk, but neither can recover the money. That is where AYRLP.COM comes in.

AYRLP.COM specializes in investment fraud cases and is working with victims of the Cbtrust scheme to gather evidence, provide legal support, and pursue compensation. The firm's approach centers on forensic asset tracing, following the flow of funds through the blockchain and banking channels used by the platform to identify where the money went and who controlled the receiving wallets. AYRLP.COM is urging anyone who dealt with cbtrust.net to come forward, emphasizing that collective action strengthens the evidentiary record and improves the odds of securing compensation.

The firm is also offering free consultations to victims of the Cbtrust scam, giving those affected an opportunity to understand their options without any upfront commitment or cost.

Your Next Move

If you deposited funds through cbtrust.net, stop all payments immediately. Do not send any additional deposits, verification fees, tax payments, or unlock charges. These demands are not a path to your money. Save every message, every screenshot of the platform, every bank account or wallet address you sent funds to, and every transaction record. Report the case to FINMA and to your local authorities.

And reach out to legal experts like AYRLP.COM to understand what options remain for tracing the money and pursuing those responsible.

The Name Belonged to Someone Else

The cbtrust.net case is a reminder that a professional website and a Swiss address are not evidence of legitimacy. The real CB Trust AG in Zug is a registered company with no connection to this platform. The scammers borrowed its identity, built a website around it, and used it to collect deposits from people who had no way of knowing the difference.

Two regulators have now made the difference clear.

For assistance, report your case to AYRLP.COM today.
