下是英國Times Good University Ranking2010年與2006年資料，兩者相比可以看出這些年來許多名次較在後的英國大學在物理方面突然冒出頭來，例如Sheffield, Brimingham, Southampton, Aberdeen, 另外如Glasgow, St. Andrews, Imperial College也進入十強，反而是Warwick, Leeds, Manchester, Queens, Swansea, Bristol, Surrey等大學名次下降許多。
