今年66歲的資深媒體人李艷秋時常在臉書針砭時事，提出看法，而她今（3日）則是在臉書透露現況，繼五年前右髖手術後，左髖又出了狀況，因此決定進行歷經三個多小時的微創手術，可見骨刺真的很大顆，並於第二天出院，而她也說，這次乖乖等拆線、乖乖使用助行器。
李艷秋表示，這是的病名是「左髖關節緣外傷性軟骨破裂合併髖臼關節壓迫症候群及關節炎」，經醫師診斷，左股骨上蓋了一個骨刺組成的屋頂，切破了盂唇，不能再跑長距離，重訓也要小心翼翼，連走路都要停下來敲敲打打，屋頂只會越來越高，不會自己消失，因此她當時就決定「消滅它」，也就是進行微創手術，也發現骨刺真的很大顆，雖然第二天就出院了，但算算腿上的錨釘，右四左二，已經有半個機器人的感覺。
但是李艷秋說，「當我看著NCC的自我作賤、監察院的自我閹割、頻頻停電後官員的自我陶醉，我突然醒悟，老天給我這麼難得沈澱的日子，是要我把腦袋清一清」，因此她認為人生進入下半場，不能總糾結在無力改變的人和事上，能幹掉自己的骨刺，但拔得了長在國家身上的骨刺嗎？
連自己養的狗都叫不動，能改變那些目空一切的政客嗎？
於是揹起吉他、撐著助行器，開始上吉他課，別讓未來的自己後悔。
看白板上密密麻麻的和弦和樂理，李艷秋說，這只是第二堂課，但她沒被嚇跑，因期盼人生裡不只有喧鬧的政治，還有沁脾的音樂，而夢想是沒有年紀的。
