The sudden shift to these new forms of online communication was not a surprise to everyone. For example, the ShareAmi program was a huge success in helping British university students and French senior citizens beat the lockdown loneliness.

ShareAmi is basically a language exchange program launched by a French non-profit called Oldyssey. The University of Warwick connected with ShareAmi to match British students learning French with conversation partners in France.

霎時之間出現這些線上交流新型態的轉變並非讓所有人都感到驚奇。比方說，ShareAmi計畫曾於幫助英國大學生和法國年邁市民們克服隔離孤獨的部分獲得莫大成功。
