美國共和黨總統參選人川普，在加州參加共和黨全國代表大會，遭到大批民眾圍堵抗議，逼得川普得要從後門入場，讓他自嘲進入造勢會場，過程有如跨越邊境一樣，不過川普強調不會因此被打倒，目前他已拿下破千張的選舉人票，在總統提名之路上，又向前推進一步。

進入第2天的反川普抗議活動，延燒到伯靈格姆的飯店前，大批示威民眾與警方激烈推擠，煙硝味絲毫沒有削減，反而越演越烈，川普支持者還有如過街老鼠，被群眾趕出會場。

主人公川普怕遭到攻擊，早早把車停在高速公路旁，翻越圍欄，從後門溜進飯店內，這一小段路讓他大喊，真的好艱辛。

共和黨總統參選人川普：「這是我走過最難走的入口，我覺得我像在翻越邊境一樣。」

儘管「反川普」聲浪不絕於耳，但川普回嗆不會因此退縮，讓這些反對勢力得逞，所以馬不停蹄地造勢催票，還特別與印第安納州州長見面，盼能獲得州長加持，贏得初選。

共和黨總統參選人川普：「我不認為他會公開支持任何人，但他可能會公開力挺我。」

話才剛說完，馬上被打臉。

印第安納州州長彭斯：「我不反對任何人，但我會投克魯茲。」

州長不相挺，但民意卻大力支持。目前川普聲勢旺翻天，拿下1002張的選舉人票，只要再拿235張，就能獲得總統提名。而將登場的印第安納州初選，川普也以41％的民調支持率，遙遙領先同黨對手，距離白宮之路又邁進一大步。（民視新聞林柏樫綜合報導）
