Stand by Me 收錄在1986年電影 Stand byMe 的原聲帶中，並發行了由 King 與演員River Phoenix和Wil Wheaton主演的相應音樂視頻來宣傳該電影．

這首歌，也出現在1987年Levis 501牛仔褲的歐洲廣告中，為在歐洲取得更大成功做出了貢獻．
