老實說B家兩人組，遊歷過的國度和地區也不算少，近年來只剩大自然的美才比較能誘惑我對旅遊的想望。亞洲’ 美洲新興的大城市看來看去差不多都是一個樣，唯有歐洲的城市因多了些歷史承傳及用心的維護，加上精緻現代的規劃與設計，反而多樣且有趣（但一般一次待個3’ 4天也夠了）。尤其是mega city除了 museum和美食，對我而言已逐漸失去吸引力。。。不過Vancouver應該會是比較特別的一個＝有港有山景色美治安好，加上還有各色種族的混合美食。

For having quite limited traveling experience, i can only share u what I’ve had. All my life, i had been busy in making myself as a dutiful husband and father. What i meant moneymaking. When i was one, my old man passed away. Ever since after that, i had to be on my own, so to speak. Anyway, the followings are what i can present to u for your reference about city of Vancouver.

1. Whistler is a gorgeous place full of marvelous nature beauties and isn't far away from Vancouver, by driving 3 hours or so. Keep this in your mind; the hotels there are quite expensive. If it is in the peak season, the hotel booking should be done 6 months in advance.

2.Butchart Garden is in Vancouver Island, which u must take big ferry to get there. This garden is just like Longwood Garden in Penn. state, USA., that all have breath-taking flowers to see and explore. Empress Hotel, which is so famous for its English afternoon tea/deserts, locates in downtown Vancouver Island, too. Again, the price is also “amazing”, too.

3. As for downtown Vancouver, i would strongly suggest to attend the so-called Pride parade, gay parade, which takes place at the end of each July every year. It’s a must-see, too. U are going to have a lot of fun there.

4. Harmony Festival in John Larson Park, West Vancouver, is also a wonderful place where you’ll get tons of cozy atmospheres and cherished moments in the beachside while listening the free music in the sunset. And, the cruise ship, just right in front your eyes, is on the way to Alaska. I always enjoy summer time here.

It begins at 29 July each year for 10 days.

As I pointed out to you Vancouver is a young city where u don't expect to see much of the historical sights/building. (Actually, there is none.)

It's, however, a place where mountains, beaches, parks and downtown can be easily reaching within 30 minutes by driving. People are friendly. U don’t worry about the safety, while strolling in the city.

5. If u are interested in building/house styles, it is a good opportunity to have easily, too. u simply drive a car wandering in the streets of West Vancouver, about the HWY 1. For the rich have their houses dwelled in hills. What u will see there is the houses’ price starting from $2,000,000 US. The colors and the styles of the houses are quite astonishing, which are totally from the ones you can find in your own country.

6. Of course, u have to spend some days at Banff National Park, the oldest National Park. This park is so much famous worldwide that it becomes one of the symbols of must-sees in whole Canada.

By the way, if u decide to go to San Diego, the SeaWorld is a must-see. U have to go in the morning, for it closes at 6.30 pm. (?) U want u have enough time inside to enjoy all the programs available.

You are welcome! Glad you like His Majesty's art work that I posted. I love all the shows at Seaworld. I've never been to San Diego Seaworld though. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
