Straight creek is on the west side of Eisenhower tunnel. Turn right immediately after the tunnel. You can park your car there, We hiked here on 8/8/2019. It was the season for blooming wild flowers.  It take us 2 hours to hike up to the Continental divide. We saw Loveland ski resort on the other side. Its a 6 hours round trip from Golden.
