What is pancreatitis
1. Pancreatitis is inflammation of pancreas, it may be acute –beginning suddenly and last few days or chronic – occur many years
the symptom
1. very painful in the upper abdomen
2. the pain could expand to the back
3. someone may spew
4. someone may bend or twist the upper body
how to diagnosis
1. blood check(you can’t check them on the clinics, you can ask the doctor of teaching hospital’s gastroenterology to check these two enzymes)
  1. Amylase(澱粉酶)
  2. Lipase(脂肪酶)
2. CT(Computer Topography) (option)
3. MRI(magnetic resonance imaging) (option)
the causes
1. major( about 90%)
  1. alcohol
  2. gallstones
  3. high fat level
2. others
  1. inherit
  2. autoimmune
treatments
1. stop eat and drink about 5days, only use drip to maintain the life
2. If gallstone, need surgery
3. If autoimmune, you have to see the RA(Rheumatoid arthritis)’s doctor after recovered
