Life is a lot like jazz. It’s best when you improvise George Gershwin, the composer and pianist who penned modern classics such as Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris, offers a philosophy for living a satisfying life in this quote. Without a definite plan, one is free to act on inspiration. When a jazz musician improvised, or performs extemporaneously, the results are more pleasing than if a prearranged routine were followed. |
