Will you be there for me?

"Will you be there for me?" I said.

"Will you?" you asked. Like you always did. Answering a question by asking another.

"Of course!" I said.

"Of course!" you calmly replied. Like you always did. Repeating a sentence without hesitation.

"What if one day you change your mind?" I asked.

"Then what I'm thinking must follow your thought." A smile fell on your face and brightened the starry night.

"I'm sorry, Grandma! I have no idea how to make myself better to make you understand how important you mean to me." 

"You already did, my sweet honey pie. And I will be there for you always!"

The winter wind kissed the stars and warmed the night.

The moonlit cheered the ocean and comforted the drift boat.

Sailed to the heart of a peaceful land!

"Thank you, Grandma!"
