The Whisper of San Francisco

The music has awoken the night. 

"How is Cisco treating you?" The glamor of Venus stuns Neptune.

People follow the beat getting sweaty on the dance floor.

Tasting the darkness of the sky,

touching the lasers with a pie,

softly Venus whispers,

"It takes an insider

to understand and appreciate

the beauty of San Fransisco."

"Make a wish!" Neptune insists abruptly.

Wondering Neptune's intention, Venus utters the query, "Here?"

"Why not? Your wish will shine as gold and your dream might come true." Neptune swallows Oreo ice cream to keep his mind cool in the summer heat.

"Are you trying to blur the boundaries of our relationship?" Venus is always good at reading between the lines.

Giving Venus an admiring look, Neptune continues, "Yes and no. I just dreamt about you during my sleep but then you were gone."

"Oh... what had happened?"

"Cause you were awake to be here with me now..."
