Here is your revised version with the requested grammar corrections and Simplified Chinese characters changed to Traditional Chinese:
Hello everyone!
Welcome to Lets Talk in English.
My name is Garrett,
and my name is Esther. Today,
our topic is nature.
Thats right! What are we talking about?
We’re talking about snowflakes! Woohoo!
Thats right, in many parts of the world,
it is snowing, and when it is snowing,
you will see snowflakes, right?
When you look at snow,
it looks like just a bunch of white stuff,
almost like a pudding spread out across the ground. But actually,
when you look really closely at snow,
it’s made up of individual pieces called snowflakes. They say,
no snowflake is the same, right?
Just like how everyone is special and different. Garrett,
can you help us with our reading?
Take a walk outside in December,
and enjoy the cold weather in northern places.
You might see snow.
It looks very pretty on everything.
It’s fun to watch snowflakes fall from the sky.
Each one has six sides,
but no two snowflakes are the same.
Each one is different and very beautiful.
But you can’t look at one snowflake for very long;
it melts quickly. Thank you, Garrett!
Yes, we heard a lot about snowflakes,
and we’ll be talking about them today. Now,
it’s time to go to our Find It question.
Our question is: What does Sam like to do?
What does Sam like to do?
Find the answer in our lesson today, friends,
and as you do, think about the things
you love to do when it’s snowing out.
If you haven’t seen snow yet,
that’s alright.
Look up some pictures and learn about snow together with us today.
And now, let’s go to Sonya for today’s keywords.
Sam
I was just outside enjoying the cold weather。
Sam
I like to watch snowflakes fall from the sky。
They melt fast。
Sam
I like it here in the northern US。
Hi Julie!
I was just outside enjoying the cold weather, and guess what?
What?
It’s starting to snow!
I love it when it snows!
I like to watch snowflakes fall from the sky.
Me too! They’re so beautiful.
They are, and no two are the same! Did you know that?
Yes, I did. Every snowflake is different. That’s amazing to think about!
Hey Esther,
I’m sure you’ve seen snow before.
That’s right, I have! I see snow in Canada and Japan. How about you, Garrett?
Yeah, many times when I lived in Europe as a kid,
we often had snow, and in California,
snow is just a few hours’ drive away. Well,
today we’re following along with our conversation
as our friends are talking about the weather.
Sam sees Julie and
says he was just outside
enjoying the cold weather, right?
Because it’s December and we are in winter,
so it’s very cold outside where we are now.
Let’s talk about this word weather. It’s cold weather,
so it means it’s been cold for a long time.
The weather is the situation outside.
Weather – it’s a storm outside,
it’s hot outside, or it’s raining.
We use the word weather to describe that.
Well, friends,
it’s time for us to go over to Sonya now.
I was just outside enjoying the cold weather。
She is in the park playing basketball。
He is in the kitchen making hot chocolate。
They are in the library studying for a test。
Thank you, Sonya! Well,
Sam is excited about the weather outside
because it’s starting to snow,
and Sam says that he loves it when it snows.
Now,
it means he really enjoys it when it snows,
so that leads us to our Find It question.
Our question is: What does Sam like to do?
He likes to watch snowflakes fall from the sky! Yes,
snowflakes are the pieces of snow
that fall down from high up in the sky.
Snow falls just like rain,
but when it’s really cold outside, right?
And it needs to be wet enough for it to snow.
Now,
if you are outside and you look up,
what you see is the sky.
It’s the air around you, but the air that’s higher up.
Well,
the snow is exciting,
and Sam is excited about it. Do you like to watch snowflakes,
as well? Julie says that she also enjoys watching snowflakes.
She says they’re so beautiful.
And Sam says no two are the same.
The shape of every snowflake is a little bit different.
Julie knew this too.
She also says every snowflake is different,
and it’s amazing to think about. If something is amazing,
you think it’s very wonderful or great.
Think about that, friends.
Every snowflake is different, right?
If you could think about
all the different possible shapes of a snowflake,
you could never think of all of them. There’s just too many, right?
And earlier, we heard that snowflakes have six sides.
We have a special word for shapes
that have six sides.
It’s called a hexagon.
That sure is amazing and interesting, friends!
It’s time for us to take a quick break.
We’ll be right back with more,
just after this!
Let’s Talk in English every day
Every day, that’s the way!
Welcome back to the show, everyone!
Esther, one of my favorite crafts
as a kid was making paper snowflakes.
Me too! We did this during school in the wintertime, and we
made Christmas cards by cutting paper snowflakes.
Yeah, they’re a great decoration to have around your house,
but I’m not sure they’re as beautiful as real snowflakes.
Well,
let’s go back to our lesson to learn more about them.
Each snowflake is different,
but all snowflakes have six sides!
Really!
But you can’t look at snowflakes for too long; they melt fast.
They do, but when it’s cold, a lot of snowflakes together
make snow, and snow looks pretty on everything.
I like it here in the northern US.
Me too!
We always have snow in winter.
Winter won’t be fun without snow!
Okay, so we’ve learned a little bit about snowflakes so far.
Each one is different; the pattern is a little bit different,
but they all have six sides, right?
They are all the same shape.
Julie says that you can’t look at snowflakes for too long.
Why is that? Well,
it’s not for the same reason as the sun.
You can’t look at the sun for too long,
because your eyes will hurt. Well, snowflakes are
because they melt too fast.
Right, if something melts,
it means it goes from being a shape
that is called a solid to being something like water,
a liquid, because there is a change in temperature.
How hot or cold something is. Think about an ice cube; if you put it in a glass
and let it sit for a long time,
it will turn into water. That’s because it’s melting.
Well, Sam says when it’s cold, a lot of snowflakes together
make snow. So when we’re talking about snow,
we’re talking about lots and lots of snowflakes.
They come together, and what you see
is that snow now.
Julie believes that snow looks pretty on everything,
and I have to agree with Julie.
Snow is white; it looks peaceful, and I think it is also pretty.
Yeah, I love looking at it,
too! I know people that live in places where it snows a lot
can find it kind of annoying,
though it is hard to go to work
or to walk across the street if there is too much snow.
Well,
Sam says he likes it here in the northern US,
right? Because we are living in the northern part,
or if you look on a map,
the top part of the United States.
We call this area
the northern US.
Well, Sam says we always have snow in winter.
That’s true! This is a place
where there’s always snow in the winter.
That’s not true of all places around the world,
though, right? In some places,
it doesn’t snow in the winter,
or maybe it snows from time to time,
but Julie believes that winter wouldn’t be fun without snow.
Winter wouldn’t be fun without snow!
But this would be it. It’s our calendar phrase.

Winter wouldn’t be fun without snow.
I love snow, winter wouldn’t be fun without snow.
Yeah, you can play in the snow.
Winter wouldn’t be fun without snow.
Yeah, you can go sledding in the snow.
Winter wouldn’t be fun without snow.
Yeah, you can build a snowman.
Snow is fun, fun, fun!
Yeah, but it’s cold, cold, cold,
Let’s go inside!

Winter wouldn’t be fun without snow
that’s what Julie says, yes
When we all think of winter, we often think of pictures of snow or Santa Claus moving through that snow.
But the truth is, many places don’t have snow in the winter.
There isn’t any in the part of California where I grew up.
Right, but Julie enjoys the snow.
And she thinks without snow, winter wouldn’t be fun now
there are many sentences that have this phrase: wouldn’t be plus adjective plus without.
Sonia, can you help us?
winter wouldn’t be fun without snow
Thanksgiving dinner wouldn’t be traditional without a turkey。
或是 a garden wouldn’t be beautiful without flowers。
A birthday party wouldn’t be special without a birthday cake。
Thank you, Sonia!

Hi everyone!
Welcome to Jack’s File. I’m Jack.
My friend sent me a postcard with a picture of snow-covered mountains.
He’s skiing in Japan and really enjoying it.
He says it’s so much fun when it snows.
I’d like to see that sometime.
Take a walk outside during a winter month
and enjoy the cold weather in really cold places.
You might see snow.
It looks very pretty and turns everything white.
It’s fun to watch snowflakes fall from the sky.
Snowflakes are tiny pieces of frozen water or ice crystals.
They form high up in the clouds.
Each one has six sides,
but no two snowflakes are the same.
Each one is different and very beautiful,
but you can’t look at one snowflake very long;
it melts quickly.
When snowflakes fall to the ground,
they join together to create a soft blanket of snow.
It covers everything inside
and turns the world into a winter wonderland.
Snowflakes can fall slowly and gently to the ground,
or snowflakes can fall quickly.
When that happens, you have a snowstorm.
Snowstorms can drop a lot of snow,
which can make travel difficult.
Even though each snowflake is small,
they play a big part in making winter special.
I was just reading more about snowflakes.
They are so interesting!
It is fun to walk outside when it’s snowing
and look at snowflakes.
They are really beautiful!
Well, that’s all for today.
Goodbye, everyone. See you next time on Jack’s File.
Well, friends,
thank you for joining us as we talked about snowflakes today!
Yes, we often only think about the big pile of snow,
but not the individual snowflakes.
And there are words similar to this for other things in weather.
Let’s talk about rain.
We think of rain as lots of water falling from the sky,
but what about one little piece of rain?
Right! We call that a raindrop.
It’s just one drop of rain,
but together it makes the rain that we see.
Now, let’s do one that’s a little bit harder.
You don’t need to remember this,
but it’s good to know. What about sand?
You look at a beach, and there’s lots of sand all around,
but what is one little piece of sand called?
We can say a particle of sand.
It means one tiny little piece.
Yeah!
You might also hear the word kernel,
a kernel of sand.
Well, friends, those are some words you can use in your language
as you’re talking about the world around you,
and we hope to see you again tomorrow,
right here on Let’s Talk in English!
Goodbye!
