致 玉 女 To the Girls
I
You are a gracious, delicious, lonely, bony beauty. Unfortunately, I am leashed and hitched to a pole. Otherwise, I’d have chased you and tasted you. But now, I can only stay around, pant and yowl. II
You are a spreading, spraying, spry, spring goldfish. Unfortunately, you’re spreading, spraying in a bowl. Otherwise, I’d have fought you and caught you. But now, I can only sit outside, paw and howl. III
You are a displaying, cheese-playing, praying, preying flower. But, I am not that kind of simple, single, silly, honey bee. Sorry, for having stuck on you, and stung you; Unwilling to feast you – to finish me. IV
You are a sweet, swaying, swell, swinging flower. I am really that kind of loose, looting bee. But, I am very much spent, no longer stupid; Cannot appease you -- disease me. V
You’re a sheepish, puppyish, puffy, fussy lamb. It’s a pity, I am not that kind of a bold, bald goat. Or else, I would have lured you and gored you. Now, you arouse in me, a fervent, furious mood. VI
You have a rich, itchy, lofty, lousy pasture. What a pity! I am a tame, lame, maimed goat. Or else, I’d have climbed you and crushed you. Now, you arouse in me a tantalized, appetized mood. VII
You are a savory, flavory, rosy, juicy melon. Too bad, I am a sleepy and sickly worm. If not, I’d have boarded you and bored you. But I must to curl here, shrink and squirm. VIII
You are a tiny, honey, red, ripe berry. Too bad, I am a feeble, futile bird. I’d have swooped down and swallowed you. But I must to perch here, shiver and chirp. IX
You are a curvy, curly, slender, slippery serpent. I am a snake: so long, strong, tan and fine. I hope may slither to you and spiral with you; But, I fear your hidden, hideous fangs. X
You are a scenty, dainty, mad, bad, little bird; Fortunately, I am an owl, so kind and -- blind. Otherwise, I’d have snatched you and scratched you. Boohoo! You make my eyes blink, my head -- a blank. |
