他名西修，

又名湯米，

家住意大利。

每天下午，

主從相依，

到教堂頂禮。

十一月裡，

一天夜裡，

她離世歸西。

隨著殮人，

回到教堂，

為她行告別禮。

再隨眾人，

去到墓地，

看著她被埋起。

以後每天，

日夜風霜，

他都臥在主人墓上。

只會暫離，

回到村莊，

找點好心人的餵養。

每天屆時，

教堂鐘響，

他定會隨眾入堂。

在聖壇前，

在甬道旁，

蹲坐或仆伏地上。

不動不語，

身含憂鬱，

眼含哀傷。

His Name Is Ciccio

His name is Ciccio,

aka Tommy,

living in Italy.

He used to escort his owner,

an elderly lady,

to her church every day.

That day,

in November,

she passed away.

He escorted her to the service

with the bearers,

to the villagers’ cemetery

to see her be buried.

Since, he lives on her grave,

every day and night,

only temporarily leaves

for villagers’ food supply.

Still comes to her church,

every time,

at that time,

when the bell chimes.

Between the altar

and attendants,

he sits

or lies,

silently,

with sad eyes.
