１９７８年底推出首支單曲［Shooting Star／流星］，登上英國單曲榜＃１４，成績不錯

１９７９年初第二單曲［Who Were You With in the Moonlight?］再度登上英國單曲榜＃１４，鞏固Dollar的人氣

由於前兩首主打皆由男團員David Van Day主唱

１９７９年７月，唱片公司便以Thereza Bazar主唱的［Loves Gotta Hold on Me］為第三單曲

此曲由兩名團員Thereza Bazar＆David Van Day譜寫

Christopher Neil 製作成一首合成流行抒情曲, 在細緻的編曲中,Therezau以輕柔的氣音演繹, 營造出一股浪漫的氛圍.

［Loves Gotta Hold on Me］登上英國單曲榜＃４，成為Dollar名次最高單曲（日後團體還有兩首歌曲達到＃４），拿到銀唱片（２０萬張） 

這也是他們譜寫的首支暢銷曲
