８月１７日，惠妮（剛過４９歲冥壽）生前與２３歲的美國歌手裘汀·史芭克絲（Jordin Sparks）主演的音樂歌舞片［Sparkle／閃光人生］上映

這是翻拍１９７６年的同名電影．

當時由艾琳卡拉（Irene Cara）主演, 票房普通, 影評不佳.

原聲帶專輯由艾瑞莎富蘭克林（Aretha Franklin）演唱．

本片由Salim Akil導演 Stage 6 Films＋TriStar Pictures製作， Sony Pictures Releasing發行
