Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Dharma

Please forward this to your friends, regardless of their
religion, be it Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, etc it
doesn't matter. Let's put aside our differences and
help say prayers and blessing for this poor little girl.

Who is this girl? Her name is Huang YingYing,
She was the victim of a particular murder case
happened in Malaysia, Penang in the month of
July 2007. It's unsure when is the actual death
date as she went missing for sometime before her
mother and her boyfriend went to report the case
to police. This 3 year old girl was killed by her
 mother's boyfriend. He mutilated her body and
burnt, in an attempt to destroy evidence. Despite
knowing the murder of her child, her mother
reported to police lying about the case to protect
her boyfriend. Till now her body's not fully retrieved,
some parts are still missing. I omitted much details
this case so as not to make this tragedy into a drama.
What most matter now I feel is how to help her in
afterlife.

In Buddhism, there is no concept of the soul, rather,
Buddha recognized that the continuing lifeforce as
consciousness, a very subtle mental energy. It is still
possible that the spirit did not leave in peace as the
horrific experience of being murdered would have
leave a very strong impact in the mind, which caused
a strong attachment to her current life.

It doesn't matter how our own cultures and religious
beliefs interpret this case, it is a tragedy. I implore
you to do your part to pray for Huang YingYing,
and all other poor souls like her for a better Afterlife
in your own way. Kindly forward this message to
your friends, and religious teachers too so they can

bring this up in their respective religious sessions.
May this tragedy become a light of loving kindness
uniting humanity to pray for her and countless others
in suffering while we're reading this in comfort.
