《好事近》    FESTIVITY SOON

聞說有三生，    And so its said there is kismet,

重把命書翻閱。 lets view the seers chart again.

不敢回頭呼喚， Not daring to look back and scream,

怕柔腸千結！    in fear the guts may twist in pain. 

只因風雨誤佳期， Good time broken by storm and rain,

琴聲未曾咽。        the lute never have whined in vain.

絃外傳來音訊，     As for the notes other than string,

卻惹人心悅。        heart thrilling indeed they remain.
