戈斯瓦米牧師也建議傳道人，講解聖經時應注重經文的背景和上下文，要告訴會眾這一小節經文在書卷中的位置，以及這一書卷在聖經中的位置；這對於年輕的會眾來說尤為重要。必須假設他們可能不會打開紙本聖經，所以感受不到古籍圖書館的感覺。
