North to Alaska

生於1925年的強尼哈頓（Johnny Horton），
是我最喜愛的歌星之一。
這個【老式情歌】專欄的第二首歌
就是他的<低語的松林>。

當時我寫道： 「他最擅長演唱民謠說歷史的歌，
例如“The Battle of New Orleans”
唱英國攻打紐奧良的故事，
“Sink the Bismarck”
唱德國的俾斯麥戰艦被擊沉的故事，
和“North to Alaska”（北國尋金記），
但是我偏好他的抒情鄉村歌曲。」
後來又貼了他的“All for the Love of a Girl“，
倒是一直沒有貼過他的歷史民謠歌曲，
現在趕緊為大家貼這首“North to Alaska”。

這首歌是Mike Phillips在1960年所寫，
在鄉村歌曲排行榜升上榜魁，
在流行歌曲排行榜也高居第四，
也是同名的西部電影《北國尋金記》的片首曲。
