According to the report of the green media Liberty Times, people in Taiwan feel unhappy to some Mainland popular usages.  Among them, the most disgusting one is the "nickname" that Mainlanders are using to address Taiwan sometimes: "Wan Wan".

Well, to me it is a relatively cordial manner to call the island as "Wan Wan", when it is compared with the usages that people of Taiwan are calling Mainlanders: Chink, 426, 大陸妹, 陸配, and so on.  FYI, I seldom found netizens of Mainland reacted vehemently when they saw their counterparts in Taiwan calling their name with those pejorative terms.
