Who wrote the chessy sentence that gives me goose pimples whenever I see it, "The best scenery of Taiwan is its people",  Han Han or Long Intai?  Whatever, who cares?

But you must care when you saw the attitude of that contractor whose insouciance caused the appalling railway accident last week which has claimed 50 lives and nearly 200 wounded; when you saw the officials concerned trying hard to understate the political responsibility; and when you saw that notorious "netizen army" starting to create a new red herring. Then what are you going to say?

The answer is: The best scenery of Taiwan is its dregs of society!
