暮江平不動，

The river in gloaming slumbers;

春花滿正開。

spring flowers are in efflorescence.

流波將月去，

Ripples carry the moon floating,

潮水帶星來。

as stars bring water glistening.

PS  The well-known but much longer namesake poem (which is almost beyond translation) is written by 張若虛 of Tang Dynasty, but it is said the poet was greatly inspired by this short one.
